Love oceans, love Oceana

I love Oceana. Their book Oceana: Our Endangered Oceans and What We Can Do to Save Them, by Ted Danson and Michael D’Orso, pushed me on to enrol in this marine biology degree and start from the basics of the physical dynamics of the ocean (it’s hard to save something if you don’t know how it works or what’s wrong with it!)

This video is a great example of their work: some humour, slightly dodgy acting by management types but with a serious message and some attractive people (ie. Rachael Harris and Angela Kinsey) to sell it. Oceana also featured on The Daily Show on Tuesday night with their headline-grabbing Seafood Fraud Report.

Like the video, donate to Oceana and give these types of organisations any support you can!
